Our Favorites This Week
Check our Ene's very cool Victory Sunglasses! Available in satin pewter and tortoise (shown) and gold/ burgundy.
For Irene, the sensational style and comfort of Blackfin is showcased with these titanium and tortoise frames. Perfect with regular lenses, but would look amazing with the new Transitions Signature VII Graphite Green lenses too!
Finally, for our Ratas Retro Eyewear collection, Sherri found this sculptural beauty from Spain. They would look great as sunglasses as well. Only two of these beauties are available.

Happy Friday!
We had to end the week right by sharing this fantastic ad campaign from Japan for Pizza Hut. Check out the site here to see what terrible employees cats would make. Short movies about cats and pizza? Worth a digression from eyewear!
Protecting Your Eyes From the Sun - Why It Matters
![]() |
| "Why should I be wearing sunglasses?" The sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays can damage your eyes. Even in the winter, you still run a risk of sustaining eye damage if you are not wearing eye protection. Think it's okay on a cloudy day? No way! Exposure to UV rays and blue light when it is sunny, cloudy, summer or winter can lead to problems down the road. Eye damage from the sun adds up, and a few things that you run the risk of developing are cataracts, a condition called Pterygia which causes tissue growth in the whites of the eyes and age related macular-degeneration. The best way to protect your eyes is by wearing sunglasses that block 99- 100% of UVA and UVB rays, blue light rays. Be good to your eyes! * If you would like to read more here is a good article "Eyes and Sun Damage" |
